Numerology
Record whether and how your practice uses numerology, and see where a reading is calculated.
Before you start
- A practice. The policy is recorded per practice so two readings are comparable.
- A client, a completed intake, and that client’s consent to process their data for this purpose before any reading is calculated.
What you provide
- The reduction rule and whether master numbers are preserved.
- When a personal year turns over.
- How the letter Y is classified.
- Optionally, a name to use — this is one client’s record, held under its own consent.
What you can do
- Record the policy, or change one already recorded.
- Open a client to store a name record, check their consent state or calculate a reading.
What you get
- A recorded policy with a settings hash. A stored reading cites that hash, which is what makes it reproducible under the policies it was calculated with.
- A reading for one client, or a refusal naming what is missing.
Common problems
- A reading is refused with METHODOLOGY_CONFIGURATION_REQUIRED
- The practice has no recorded numerology policy. Nothing is calculated from an unstated default — record the policy on this screen and try again.
- The name-based numbers are missing
- A name is an optional record with its own consent. Without one, the date-derived numbers are calculated and the name-derived numbers refuse rather than being computed from a name nobody chose.
- A client cannot consent to numerology
- Consent for a purpose is the client’s to give. Record their intake and let them give it on their own step rather than recording it for them.
