See what needs your attention, what is happening with your clients, and what to do next.
Before you start
- A practice you belong to. If you have none, Setup creates one.
- Nothing else. An empty dashboard is a normal state on a new practice, not an error.
What you provide
- None. Everything on this screen is read from your practice’s stored state.
What you can do
- Follow the one ranked next action, which names a screen to open.
- Open an item under Needs attention to see what failed or what is waiting.
- Open Clients to work on a client, or continue the session the action points at.
- Expand “Why this action is first” to see the reason key and what the ranking does not use.
- Expand “Where these figures come from” under any measure to see its formula, period and exclusions.
What you get
- One recommended next action, with the reason it is first.
- A list of conditions that need a decision or a recovery.
- Today: anything the projection lists for the current date in your practice time zone.
- Workflow stages with a live count at each stage, excluding sample records.
- Measures with their formulas and exclusions, and a period summary of drafts, approvals, deliveries and reflections.
Common problems
- A section says nothing could be loaded
- That is a failure, not an empty result. Use the retry on the panel. An empty result never renders as a failure and a failure never renders as a zero.
- “Nothing scheduled today”
- The projection lists no item for today. It does not mean a request failed, and it does not mean the practice is finished — work in the workflow stages below still appears there.
- “No value: insufficient data”
- Too few eligible cases to state a figure. A rate over no sessions would be a guess, so it is withheld until there is something to measure.
- You are asked to sign in again while the sign-out control is showing
- This was a defect: the header answered “are you signed in?” from the browser’s session while the page asked the API. The two answers are now reconciled, so a signed-out session shows a single sign-in prompt. If it recurs, use the sign-in prompt on the header, then reload.
